Roses polyantha
A shrub rose derived from a dwarf multiflora. The first polyantha was obtained and commercialized by Guillot and sons in 1875 under the name Paquerette. They have clusters of flowers, but are very different from modern clusters roses for the form of the shrub and for their comparably small blooms. They can be used in groups or in borders, and also adapt well for container gardens. They are very free flowering.
